Raw Sumar Honey
It is one of the most famous types of honey in Yemen and desert regions, produced from the nectar of the Sumar tree (also known as the Talh). These trees grow in dry and hot areas and bloom during the summer, where bees collect their nectar to produce Sumar honey, distinguished by its dark color, strong flavor, and richness in iron. It has a sharp taste and medium viscosity.

عسل السمر: هو أحد أشهر أنواع العسل في اليمن والمناطق الصحراوية، ويُنتج من رحيق أزهار شجرة السمر (وتُعرف أيضًا باسم شجرة الطلح أو السنط). تنمو هذه الأشجار في المناطق الجافة والحارة، وتزهر في فترة الصيف، حيث يجمع النحل رحيقها لإنتاج عسل السمر المميز بلونه الداكن ونكهته القوية وغناه بالحديد، كما أن طعمه حاد ولزوجته متوسطة.
